Three Village Walk
10 miles

From the Visitors Centre, go through the gate and turn right onto the trail. After two thirds of a mile (where the footpath crosses the trail) turn left over the stile and follow footpath to Teversal Village.

Follow the road straight on to the stile on the right opposite the church. Cross over the stile and follow the footpath diagonally to the road.

Turn right and go to the brow of the hill. Turn left over the stile and follow the footpath over the fields to the cottages at Norwood. At the road turn left and after approximately 100 yards turn right onto the footpath through Norwood House garden, over the field, through the wood and over the footbridge and field to Rowthorne Trail.

Cross over the trail and go over the stile and four fields to the road and turn left to Rowthorne village. Bear right in the village and follow the road until you see a public footpath waymarker on the left. Go through the gate, over two stiles and head for the tree in the field. Then go to the bottom right hand corner, over the stile and up the field keeping the hedge on your right.

At the road cross to the stile slightly to the left and follow the path straight on over two more stiles. On reaching the road turn left to Ault Hucknall. When you reach the church turn left down bridleway and go through the gate at the end and cross the field bearing left to the road and follow this to Hardwick Hall.

Pass in front of the hall down the hill to the corner and go through the kissing gate, over the field and through Lady Spencer's Wood. On reaching the unmade road turn left and follow this road until you come to a bridge that crosses the trail. Turn right over the stile and follow the trail to the end. Cross over the stile, turn left down the steps and left again onto the road. After 100 yards take path left back to the Visitors Centre.
